Biography
For almost 15 years Dale Jones has been perfecting his craft and
is becoming one of the wildest energetic comics in the country. Entertaining
audiences at comedy clubs from the Atlantic coast to the Rocky
Mountains and everywhere in between, his zany on-stage character
sends club patrons to the exits with no disappointments.
His machine gun style of delivery and animated
facial contortions combined with quick improvisations and non-stop
physical comedy leaves the audience wishing they had his energy and
wanting to give him a dose of Ritalin. Forget "high energy"-- this
is frantic! His shows are always a most memorable comedy experience
and club owners and managers have gotten used to fielding questions
about when Dale will be returning.
Dale is
currently on the hit NBC show Last Comic Standing and has
had numerous television appearances including
Fox Television (30 seconds to Fame) and
The Comedy Network in Canada. He also appeared briefly in the
2003 MGM movie "Out Of Time" with Denzel
Washington.
He has
covered the map with live appearances at dozens of clubs, including
Yuk Yuks in Toronto,Ontario; ; Wits'End - Denver,CO;
Laffs - Tucson,AZ; The Comedy Zone- Las Vegas,NV and at the Atlantis Resort/JokersWild-Paradise Island,Bahamas.

Dale
started his career in Nashville, Tennessee. While working (mostly
wasting) his days away in a factory, his co-workers dared him to try
his hand at his life long dream, making people laugh. He stepped on
stage for the first time (Jan. 12, 1993) at Zanies Comedy Club’s
open mike night. Two years later, Dale turned a dream into a reality
and started doing stand-up full time.
Working
hard to develop an act that’s truly original and non- stop funny,
Dale has fashioned a show that reflects the great comedians that
influenced him, such as Abbott and Costello, Buster Keaton, Jerry
Lewis, Tim Conway and Don Knotts.
These influences along with Dale’s unusual observations, only
enhance his unique gift for physical comedy and animated facial
expressions.
In the
past year Dale has debuted on 2 nationally syndicated radio shows;
THE BOB AND TOM SHOW and
The BOB AND SHERI SHOW. He was one of
8 finalists in “The Great Canadian Laugh
Off” held at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club in Toronto, Ontario and
he was invited to perform at THE BOSTON
COMEDY FESTIVAL, a great honor for any working comedian.
Dale work’s regularly with highly-talented comedians such as
Steven Wright, Lewis Black, Brian Regan, Blake Clark, Margaret
Smith, Wendy Liebman, Robert Schimmel, Emo Phillips, Kevin Meaney
and Bob Nelson.
